Please note that we will only accept guests who have a valid visa or credit card and have a permanent address. Please include full address, full name & postcode and contact number at time of booking. We will charge the first night at the time of booking and the balance will be automatically deducted from your credit/debit card 72 hours prior to arrival.

Arrival: Check-in is from 14-30 - 18-30 please note we cannot guarantee outside of hours check-in or late check-in. When booking please plan to arrive before check-in closes. If you encounter a problem and are going to arrive late contact us and see if you can do self check-in which will be available on request only.

Group Bookings: Unfortunately, we don't except large group bookings.

Terms and conditions: By booking a room at Westbrook Guesthouse you are agreeing that you and members of your party agree to and are bound by the Terms & Conditions detailed below. Your reservation made with Westbrook Guesthouse represents a legally binding contract between you and Westbrook Guesthouse. A minimum of 3- or 4-night's stay is usually required in peak season at the weekends or bank holidays.

Deposit: The time of booking you will be charged for the first night. The balance will automatically be deducted from your card 72 hours prior to arrival. Please note we do not accept American Express.

Cancellation policy: Any booking booked via Booking.com will have to be cancelled through Booking.com itself not through the guesthouse. Cancellations must be received 7 days prior to arrival. If it is within the 7 days of arrival 50% of the total cost of the stay will be taken from the credit/debit card details that were supplied at time of booking. We reserve the right to charge your card as detailed in our cancellation policy in the event of a non-arrival no-show (guest doesn't show up) will be treated as a cancellation by check-in time 6-30 pm on the day of arrival then full payment of the cost of the stay i.e., booking will be taken regardless of the reason - you will be advised to claim against your travel insurance.

Deposits: are non-refundable. By entering into this contract, you are authorizing us to make these charges without additional consent being required.  Any booking that is held with a credit or debit card will be guaranteed accommodation and travel insurance is recommended for all guests which should provide you with adequate cover should you need it.

Non- Refundable Booking: By booking a non-refundable booking the price of the booking is cheaper than a normal price booking so a non-refundable booking is not refundable.

Refunds: Refunds will only be made to the debit or credit card that was used at the time of booking. To prevent money laundering, we are unable to refund any payment made to a different card number.

Departure Time:  We kindly request that guests vacate their rooms by 10:00 am on the morning of departure. 

Circumstances Beyond Our Control: We Cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. These include, travel, and family deaths of individuals through accidental circumstances un connect with Westbrook Guesthouse.

Parking:  We have a small car park for off-road parking which is limited to just 3 cars of a small size to fit into the lines and is on a first come first served basis. Please note vans or medium to larger sized cars will require and need street parking. Parking cannot be pre-booked. While we will attempt to satisfy individual needs, we cannot guarantee parking spaces. Larger and medium size vehicles will need to use on-street  parking at the front of the property, which is free parking and is not reserved. Please note vehicles and contents are left here entirely at owners risk. Westbrook Guesthouse do not accept responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents. Please note that any vehicle with oil leaks onto the car park will be subject for damages for re- cleaning of the car park.

Rates: The rates quoted are for the specific number of guests, i.e. family room is for  2 adults and 1 child, not 3 adults.

Visitors: For fire regulations, only guests staying at Westbrook Guesthouse will be granted  entry we don't except friends of guests staying elsewhere to enter the property.

Smoking:  We do not allow smoking in the building and that includes E cigarettes and vaping. The sensitive smoke alarm will pick up any cigarette smoke and set the alarm off whether with your head/arm or any part of your body out of the window, although smokers are welcome and can smoke outside where an ashtray is provided.  Anyone found smoking in the building will be subject to a fine of £100.00 towards the cost of deep cleaning of the room/area and will be asked to leave and no refund will be given back.

Stag / Hen Parties or large single Parties are not accepted:  If you  book by leaving out this information you will be turned away on arrival, and you still will be charged for the rooms booked.

Pets: Unfortunately we don't accept pets.

Damage/ Missing items:  We reserve the right to charge your credit or debit card for any damage caused to your room during your stay or for any items found to be missing when you leave.

Refunds:  No refund will be given for temporary absence, meals booked and not taken, or early departure. This also applies if you are asked to leave.

Consumption of Food  &  Drink:  We politely and respectfully request that meals are not consumed in guest bedrooms. Please take care of the rooms and note that you will be charged in event of any damages.

 Card Types:  Are accepted as follows:  Visa, Master card . Any refund will only be refunded on the original card that the booking was made from we are unable to refund any payments made to a different card to prevent money laundering.

Alcohol/Drinks:  Please don't consume your own alcoholic drinks or otherwise in public areas or outside on the patio or dinning room due to the licensing restrictions. We are happy for you to consume your own drinks in your room.

Children: From 14 years and above are welcome at Westbrook Guesthouse. Our maximum occupancy per room is for two people other than the family room where this is for two adults and one child, therefore you are more than welcome to book more than one room.

CCTV: The building is equipped with 24 hour recording CCTV in public areas for the safety and security of our guests and premises.

Unregistered Visitors: Unregistered Visitors are only allowed into the Guest House with the owners consent. Any guest disregarding this will be charged additional £30.00 for their unauthorised visitor and the guest will be asked to leave in such cases we will not provide a refund for any accommodation days lost. this is also a fire and safety rule.

Noise & Disturbance: at Night: Please show consideration for other Guests when using Mobile Phone, PCs, TVs or Radios etc. either very early in the morning or late at night. We respectfully request that all guests keep noise to a minimum when returning late also we are only a small guest House. 

Food: Evening meals are not available at Westbrook. Apart from breakfast no other meals or snacks are available. Also, no microwaves or slow cookers are allowed in the building or guests' rooms for personal use.

Privacy Policy: Westbrook Guesthouse website does not automatically capture or store your personal information. We do not use cookies for collecting user information for from the site. You may be asked for personal information, if you would inquire further information on our services or you wish to be contacted by us.
